It's a little bit messy and a whole lot of fun! We'll create art using a variety of media while enjoying the outdoors (weather permitting). AGES: 3-12

It is Pollinator Week! Join Standley Lake’s Environment Educators at Irving Street Library to create a variety of pollinator-themed crafts.

Grab a brush or use your hands and get wild like famous artist, Jackson Pollock! Together we will paint a mural to display in the library and explore how paint spatters and spreads. AGES: 2-5

Learn to Face Paint Prepare for RenFaire and beyond. Learn the basics of face-painting from a local social media influencer, Maythriel. Supplies provided; must attend both classes. AGES: 12-18

Bring your creativity outside as we create masterpieces for the garden. Make a steppingstone, a bee bath, and more. AGES: 5-12 

Introduce your child to acting concepts through a series of creative activities. Given costumes, props, and a few key lines, participants magically bring Dr. Seuss' Jungle of Nool to life! Registration required. AGES: 5-12

The family that kicks together, sticks together! Join Irving Street Library’s security guard, Lyndon, as he helps kids build confidence, discipline, and strength through a combination of martial arts and practical advice.

We will have tabletop board games, Switch games and more. Bring your friends and enjoy provided snacks and drinks while you hang out! AGES: 12-18

Reading with therapy dogs helps kids gain confidence.  Bring your own book or choose one at the library. Sign up for a 15-minute session when you arrive. AGES: 5-12

Oculus headsets, chess boards, Super Smash Bros., snacks, and whatever else we can get our hands on. Drop in to discover, chill, and explore the library's games and resources. AGES: 12-18
