October is Fire Prevention Month! Westminster Fire Department will be at the library this morning with a fire safety booth inside our front entrance.

In honor of Banned Books Week, join FRCC for a showing of the documentary film Banned Together (93 minutes). Film starts at 11:45am with conversation to follow.

Join a community RPG group meeting every two weeks on Sunday to play Daggerheart at our library. Currently, the game allows for 6 people total (5 players and 1 GM).

Find inspiration for dress-up or Halloween! Drop off good-condition donations of costumes between Oct 1-7 and get admission to a special preview on Friday. All families can drop by Saturday and browse for a free costume.

Do you have the itch to stitch? Test out those beginner cross stitching skills with us and create your favorite constellation with a needle and thread. Registration required.  AGES: 9-12

Colorful sugar skulls are a favorite decoration on graves and altars during Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Learn about the Mexican holiday while you decorate your own sugar skull. Registration required. AGES: 5-12

Science Fiction and Fantasy readers unite! From epic quests to distant galaxies, we'll dive into science fiction and fantasy stories that challenge, inspire, and transport us. Registration preferred, new members and drop-ins welcome.
